Guided 3-hour tour with tastings in treasured Jewish stores and restaurants. Discover traditions and stories behind the food.
We will taste Gefelte Fish, Matzo Ball Soup, Latkes, Falafel and will learn about Kosher rules, Jewish holidays, and the influence of Middleastern, European, and Asian cultures on Jewish cuisine.
We will discuss Jewish history in Brookline and share anecdotes about the owners of the establishments and famous Brookline residents from the 18th-21st centuries.
